1 Peter 3:12 for the eyes of the lord are on the righteous and his ear are attentive to there prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Peter wrote to early Christians who were facing persecution and suffering for their faith. He addressed them on the challenges of suffering for doing good and sought to remaind them of the hope they have in Christ.
He pointed out the nature of God in relating with the righteous and the unrighteous. For the righteous, god have a loving and protective watch over them. He is attentive to their need, concern, and situation. This reflect the fact that God works everything for good to those who love you.
God does not only see the need or condition of the righteous, but also listen to there prayer. However, the unrighteous will face the opposition and judgement of God.
The efficacy of our prayer is determined by our connection with God. When our line align with the will of God we enjoy divine attention and care.
We experience God unfailing love and blessed assurance even in the face on persecution or suffering when we live according to God will. In a world filled with hostility and suffering, let us be assured that God always watch over us and protect us and favour us.
Let us strive to live in accordance with the will of God by living a godly life. Let us also note that our connection with God is determine by our spiritual disposition. Let us be reminded that living a righteous life attract God favour and living an unrighteous life attract God judgement. The face of God is favorable to the righteous but against the ungodly
