Exodus 14:13 Moses answered the people, do not be afraid stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
Moses spoke to the israelites as they stood at the edge of the red sea, trapped between the waters and Pharaoh's advancing army.
He said to the people do not be afraid stand firm.
He encourage the people to trust in the Lord for the deliverance he would bring to them.
He admonished them to choose faith over fear.
This time, unlike initially in Egypt, they already knew about the power and miracles of God.
Moses gave them an assurance that God would surely deliver them.
He had experienced the power of God and he knew that God would perfect the deliverance process.
The message of encouragement from Moses serves as a reminder that we can put our faith in God when we encounters seemingly impossible situations.
Like the israelites, we can feel overwhelmed by our circumstances, but God calls us to stand firm.
This doesn't mean remaining passive. Rather, it's an invitation to trust in his timing and ability to save us.
When we encounter our own red sea whether health challenges, financial difficulties, or emotional problems, we can always remember the Israeli story.
Just as God parted the waters for them, he is able to part the obstacles in our lives.
Take a moment to reflect and trust in his salvation.
Let us remember that often the greatest victories comes when he choose faith over fear.
Almighty God, in my moments of fear, teach me to stand firm in faith as i await your intervention Amen.
Faith provides peace and strength in the face of uncertainty and trials.
