Making heaven rejoice

LUKE 15:10 In the same way, i tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repent.

The phariseea and teachers of the law were offended and angry seeing sinners coming to Jesus and eating with him.

Jesus justified His action by telling them that there is more joy in heaven when a sinner repents.

Emphasizing the importance of repentance of a lost soul,  Jesus used parables, including that of the Lost coin.

In the parable, the coin was missing and the woman made careful efforts to search for it, lighting a lamp and sweeping the house.

The lost coin was valuable to the woman and the loss was deeply felt.

Thus, when she find it, she rejoices exceedingly.

She called her friends and neighbor together to rejoice with her.

Jesus compared this to the joy that feel the heart of the angels in heaven over a lost soul that finds their way back to God.

As heaven celebrates every repentant soul, it is then mandatory for us as Christians to make soul winning as our top most priority. Evangelism is God's heartbeat.

We are all called to be agent of this joy bringing hope to the lost even in challenging environment.

Each time you share the gospel in your duty post, School, community or workplace, you make heaven rejoice.

As Christians, savings souls should be our priority.

However, for those who are still lost in sin, you are valuable to God, even when you feel worthless.

Therefore, let us make Heaven rejoice is very returning to Christ through genuine repentance or by bringing Sinners to him.

A single soul saved is a victory greater than any medal earned.

Lord, use me as an instrument of your salvation and let my life draw sinners to you.
