The Departure of God's Glory

Ezekiel 10:18 then the glory of the lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

The isrealites had faced exile due to their persistent unfaithfulness and idolatry. God revealed the departure of his glory from over the threshold of the temple to Ezekiel in a vision.

The departure of God glory from the temple represent the withdrawal of divine presence and favour from his people.

This moment capture the weight of Sin and Rebellion, illustrating how far the people had strayed from their covenant with God.

When God glory departs, it's signifies a loss that is not merely physical but deeply spiritual. The temple, once is Sacred dwelling place, become an ordinary house without the presence of God. This speaks volumes about the necessity of maintaining our spiritual integrity and urgent need of repentance when we find ourselves at a distance from God

It is therefore important to reflect on our own lives and our own relationship with God. Are we nurturing our connection with him, or have we allowed destractions and sin to create distance? The departure of God glory serves as a timeless warning to the people of God.

It urges us to examine our hearts and to commit ourselves to a life that Honors God's presence. We must strive to be vessels of his glory,  ensuring that our actions and choice align with his will.

Let us remember that God longs to Dwell Among Us and that our Faithfulness is essential in maintaining the sacred relationship. In doing so, we can ensure that His Glorious presence remain with us, guiding an uplifting us in our daily lives.

Heavenly father do not let your glorious presence depart from me.
