
2 Samuel 24:10 and David Heart condemned him after he had number the people. So David say to the lord, o have sinned greatly in what have done. But now, o Lord, take away the iniquity of your servant, for i have done very foolishly.
After conducting a census of Israel, David felt remorseful for his wrong decision.
He discovered he had place his trust in number instead of God. David confession was not just an expression of sorrow, it was a healthful acknowledgement of wrong doing. He did not shy away from his wrong but acknowledge it, he said i have sinned greatly in what have done.
This moment of honesty is a show of true repentance. It is a call to confront sin and seek reconciliation with God.

Today we often face situation were we must confront our own failure. The act of true repentance is to show on our actions, to seek forgiveness, and to make sure we change from our sinful ways.
The Bible said if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and clean us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9
This assurance encourage us to always approach God with all humanity and sincerity, know he welcome us back with open arms.
Where ever there is true faith there is also true repentance.
O God give us grace to return to you in genuine repentance anytime i sin against you AMEN.
