Jeremiah, amidst the destruction of Jerusalem and the suffering of the people of Judah, affirms the faithfulness and mercy of God. You saw the Ray of hope despite the realities of sin and sorrow among his people.

The imagery of God compassion begin new every morning speak to the idea of renewal and fresh beginning. Each day a new opportunity to experience God mercy and compassionate afresh. The Bible help us reflect on the challenges and uncertainties of the past years and look ahead to the new year with a senseof anticipation and perhaps even trepidation.

The first day of every new year is the day to celebrate the promise of New beginning and faithfulness of God. It's offer the chance to acknowledge God's faithfulness, reflect on the past years and seek forgiveness and renewal.

No matter what challenge we my face we should know that our existence is not bu our power. We are not better than those that died last year but that God love and mercy are always there to guide us and give us strength.

In a society often rife with suffering and conflict, the notion of God compassion serves as a powerful remainder of the importance of showing kindness, understanding towards one another.

As we look back on the past years with it joy and sorrow, successes and failure, we can rest in the knowledge that God love and compassion have sustained us knowing that God mercies are new every morning and his faithfulness is unwavering
