Why is there so much suffering, and evil in the world today. Does the Bible say anything about what is going on today.
Let see what Matthew 24:3-7 have to say
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
We can see form the Bible Jesus teaching his disciples about what the end of the world will look like.
Jesus disciples wanting to know when the conclusion of things will be walked up to him in private and begin to ask him what are the signs of the conclusion of the system of things, and then Jesus Christ begin to give them signs of the last days.
Jesus warn that there will be alot of false prophets misleading people. also warn that there will be rumors of wars food shortages and a lot of suffering.
Nation will rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom, and there will be sickness and so many bad things are bond to happen.
In this world we living in today we see a lot of this prophecies being fulfilled, we hear of wars on a daily basis, people dieing of hunger, and different types of sickness in this world.
But as a Christian we should not let this thing's scare us but to know that we are close to the conclusion of things.
We must genuinely give our life to Christ, and encourage one another to endure to the end. We must not lose faith in this last days
Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
