The God who hears

Genesis 21:17 God heard the boy crying and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, what is the matter? Hagar do not be afraid God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.

Sarah was not comfortable seeing Ishmael growing up to share inheritance with Isaac her son.

Therefore, she suggested to Abraham to get rid of Hagar and Ishmael her son.

So Hagar and Ishmael were sent away into the desert of Beersheba. Hagar wept as she watched her son Ishmael, parched with thirst in the wilderness.

She had given up hope, but God had not given up on them.

In their despair, heaven intervened, an angel spoke comfort, and God provided a well of water.

This moment shows the compassion of God, who hears every cry, most especially the silent cry.

What seems like the end became a fresh beginning for her and her son.

Today, God still hears the cries we think no one notices

Your whispered prayers, you're hidden tears, and your silent battles are not overlooked.

Heaven records every sigh , and every plea.

Like Hagar, you may feel abandoned, but God's voice breaks through fear with reassurance. Do not be discouraged.

The solution you cannot see is already prepared, waiting for your eyes to be opened.

Trust in God, your desert can become a place of refreshing.

If God, in his Providence, could listen to the cry of the son of a pagan maid, he is willing to listen to your cry.

No matter how hopeless the situation is, to him for help and he will not ignore your cry.

Merciful Lord, hear me whenever I cry to you for help.

Your tears are Not wasted before God.
