KNOWN BY YOUR FRUIT

Matthew 12:33 Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

Jesus spoke the words in today's text in response to the pharisees, who had accused him of performing miracles by the power of satan.

Using a simple but profound illustration, He taught that a person's true nature is revealed by their actions, just as the quality of a tree is known by the fruit it bears.

A good heart, transformed by God, naturally produces good works, while an evil heart produces corruption.

Jesus was not merely addressing outward morality, but the condition of the inner life.

The fruit is the visible expression of an invisible route.

His message exposed the hypocrisy of those whose words appeared holy but whose hearts were far from God.

In our lives, character cannot be disguised for long.

What fills the heart will eventually overflow through words, attitudes, and actions.

The Christian life, therefore, is not about pretending to be good but being renewed from within by the Holy Spirit.

When our hearts are surrendered to Christ, we will experience a positive transformation.

Then, in our lives, the fruit of love, kindness, humility, and integrity will grow naturally.

True transformation begins at the root in the heart.

Therefore, let us daily invite God to purify our hearts so our lives can bear fruit that glorifies him.

When our hearts are full of evil, evil will reflect in our lives, but when our hearts are devoted to God, our lives will reflect godliness.

Lord Jesus cleanse my heart and make my life a fruitful reflection of godliness.

Good fruit flows from a heart rooted in God.
